About the college

The world is constantly in need of physicians and hospitals. Man discovers, finds and invents new ideas and technologies day by day that make his life comfortable. Simultaneously and unknowingly, he paves the way for new conditions and aliments. Hence the need for physicians and cures exists forever.

As a part of a contribution to help out in this, the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital (DSIMSH) was established with a pledge of servicing the economically backward society people, especially downtrodden sections of humanity, with top-notch health care amenities at our own origin town of Perambalur.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institutions at Perambalur is a renowned education realm that strikes with premier education service right constantly; with another milestone in our medical science meadow, DSIMSH is being run by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust. This Institute is affiliated to the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (Established under Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act, 2019), Tiruchirappalli – 621 112, for overhauling the health care needs of our people in general and particularly to the under elite social people.

The Medical aspirants of DSIMSH, Perambalur will have the privilege of exposure to customary teaching coupled with modern medical technology. Our students’ get an opportunity to practice simultaneous hands-on training in the wards and out-patient departments too, where they interact with real patients for five long years.
