Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences was established with the objective of providing quality medical education supported by strong academic and clinical training. The institution functions under the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust and is part of the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institutions. The college is affiliated to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, established under the Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act 2019.
